The anti-acid silicate mortar sold under the brand name Pasarsil is a 100% inorganic composition and includes a liquid component and a powder component, and the mortar is set by a chemical reaction. Pasarsil is resistant to most mineral acids except hydrofluoric acid and all organic acids and salts and can be used up to C900 temperature. Pasarsil is basically used together with anti-acid tiles or bricks for anti-acid structures. Due to the reasonable price, this product is widely used in various industries, including chemical industries, absorption towers, distillation and drying, and mixing and storage tanks in sulfuric acid production industries.
Another characteristic of this product that distinguishes it from other similar products is the high resistance of this mortar to aqueous environments, this feature enables us to use this product in covering reactors that require the mixing of very strong acids. Use at high temperature. This anti-acid mortar has excellent stability against acidic and alkaline environments while having excellent mechanical strength and adhesion. Mortar resists all acids except hydrofluoric acid or hydrofluoric acid.
How to use:
The desired surface for execution must be flat and clean, the presence of bitumen, oil and petroleum on the working surface can reduce the adhesion effect. The ratio of mixing liquid component (Pasarsil) to Pasarsil-1 powder is recommended to be 1 to 2.7, but this ratio It will vary depending on the ambient temperature and working conditions. Pour the required liquid into a clean container, then slowly start adding the powder to obtain a homogeneous mortar-like paste. The resulting mortar should be used within 20 minutes. The workability of anti-acid mortar decreases after the start of the reaction, so always mix the amount of components that will be consumed during the working time. Use a trowel to apply mortar to the surface of the wall, so that a layer with a maximum thickness of mm3 is created at each application stage. No water is needed to use this mortar, and it should be mentioned that you should not mix the mortar that has started to stick with the newly mixed mortar. If the mixture hardens, do not add liquid for lubrication.
Effect of temperature:
The setting speed is strongly influenced by the ambient temperature, a decrease in temperature causes a severe delay in the setting of the mortar. The suitable temperature range for operation is recommended from ˚C to 25˚C.
Warning :
Avoid adding water or any solvent to the mortar. All surfaces and applied materials are completely clean and do not have any moisture.
Curing
The time required for the final setting and complete curing is 15 days. In this period, the infiltration of moisture should be prevented. Also, in order to use this mortar for surfaces that need to be resistant to moisture, it must be applied for 48 hours after 10 days. exposed to heat with a temperature of about 60 to 80 to complete the baking process.
Health and safety:
Pasarsil compounds are silicate and can cause irritation due to contact with the surface of the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In case of splashing on face and eyes, wash immediately with water.
Storage conditions and time:
The two components of anti-acid mortar can be stored for 12 months in the original packaging, away from moisture and prolonged sunlight at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius.
Note: It is better to tighten the lid of the container containing the liquid after each use of the antacid liquid and in case of long-term storage in order to prevent air from reaching it.
